OK Auto Search helps people in the Okanagan find and list used vehicles. It is operated by Oncro Corp. (“we”, “us”). By using the site, you agree to these terms.

1. What we are, and what we aren’t

OK Auto Search is a listing and search service. We show vehicles listed by dealers and private sellers and help buyers contact them. We are not a dealer, broker or agent, and we are not a party to any sale. We don’t own, inspect, test, finance, insure or guarantee any vehicle, and we don’t handle payments, deposits or ownership transfers. Any deal is solely between the buyer and the seller.

2. Listing information

Listings, prices, photos and descriptions come from the sellers. Some details (such as drivetrain, engine, seating, cab or box length) are filled in automatically from the VIN or the listing title and may be incomplete or wrong. We don’t verify listings and can’t promise any vehicle is accurately described, still available, free of liens, or roadworthy. 3. Match scores

A match percentage only shows how closely a listing fits the search you typed. It is not a rating of the vehicle’s condition, safety, reliability, value or price.

4. Private sellers

If you list a vehicle, you confirm that:

you own it or are authorised to sell it, and the details and photos are accurate and yours to use;
you are selling as a private individual. People who sell vehicles as a business in British Columbia must be licensed by the Vehicle Sales Authority of BC. We limit private sellers to a few listings at a time and may remove listings that look like unlicensed dealing (“curbsiding”);
you will disclose what the law requires you to, such as known damage or a vehicle’s history, and keep your listing current (mark it sold when it sells).

New private listings are reviewed before they go live. Listings run for 30 days unless renewed.

5. Contacting sellers

When you message a seller, we pass your name, email, optional phone number and message to that seller so they can reply. Don’t send anything you wouldn’t want the seller to see, and never send payment information through the site. Use messages only to ask about the vehicle: no spam, sales pitches or harassment.

6. What’s not allowed

false, misleading or duplicate listings, or vehicles you don’t have the right to sell;
stolen vehicles, vehicles with undisclosed liens you can’t clear, or rolled-back odometers;
scams, phishing, requests for wire transfers, gift cards or cryptocurrency;
scraping, automated access or attempts to get around our limits or security.

We may edit, refuse or remove any listing or message, and block anyone, at our discretion and without notice. If you see a problem, use “Report this listing” on the vehicle page or email hello@okautosearch.com.

7. CarWatch emails

CarWatch emails are sent only with your consent. Every email has a link to pause or delete your CarWatch. We may stop sending alerts or change how matching works at any time.

8. Fees

Searching and listing are free. If we ever introduce fees for listings, we will say so clearly before you list, and fees will never apply to a listing you already placed for free.

9. No warranty

The site is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties of any kind, including about listings, availability of the site, or the outcome of any transaction.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, Oncro Corp. and OK Auto Search are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site, from any listing, message or vehicle, or from any dealings between buyers and sellers, including indirect or consequential losses. Where liability can’t be excluded, it is limited to $100. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that can’t be waived.

11. Your responsibility

If you break these terms or the law while using the site (for example, by posting a fraudulent listing), you agree to cover the reasonable costs and claims that result for Oncro Corp..

12. Changes and law

We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version, and continuing to use the site means you accept it. These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
